The only possible Outcome

Sometimes in life the unexpected happens, and when it does you wonder if you will be able to summon the strength to meet the challenge.  Just as the tallest buildings need strong girders to help them withstand gale-force winds, so people need support to help them stand strong against the blows of adversity.  My family affords me that support; they help me remain tall and proud even when it seems there are too many forces attempting to bend me.  I no longer feel that I am subject to the whims of destiny, but am able to rise above with my face uplifted toward the sun

This book is about them.  My family consists of two diverse groups of people; in the final analysis their diversity compelled me to withstand the winds of change and catapult toward my only possible outcome.
